Embedded Systems Accessories and Debugging Tools
PiKRON company developed many support and ebugging tools to allow own system ground up development. We routinely design such tools as part of our contracts for new complete systems development or on specific customers demand. Presentation of some of these gadgets usesable for broader community follow.
RF_SERIAL
- Wireless serial port connection extender, UDB converter
- CDC ACM standard serial port on USB side
- 3.3 to 5 VDC signals levels and external power on other side
- Standard baudrate selection from 9600 to 115200
- Single port version compatible with Linux and Windows (including signed description for Windows included CDC ACM standard driver)
- 4-port version compatible with Linux (both versions supported by standard distribution kernels)
CAN_USB
- Galvanically isolated CAN to USB converter with CANopen support
- Suppor bitrates: 1Mb/s, 500kb/s, 250kb/s, 125kb/s, 100kb/s a 50kb/s
- Emulates CDC ACM serial port on USB side (no kernel drivers required for Linux and Windows)
- Simple text protocol for sending and receiving CAN messages is compatible with slCAN protocol defined and supported by standard Linux kernel SocketCAN drivers and tools
- Extended command for easy CANopen SDO and NMT access and control inluded in converter
RS_USB
- Galvanically isolated USB to serial port converter
- Based on wide suported FTDI chip
- Serial port side Tx and Rx signals logic levels 3.3 to 5 VDC
- The 3.3 or 5 VDC power supply is required from target side
SWD_USB
- FTDI based SWD debugger interface and USB serial port
- Compatible with target systems powered by 1.65 to 3.3 VDC
- Compatible with OpenOCD tools
- Used for our Nordic nRF51 Bluetooth 4.0 and other custom protocol based development
JT_USB
- FTDI based JTAG USB debugger interface and USB serial port
- Compatible with target systems powered by 1.65 to 5 VDC
- Compatible with OpenOCD tools
